“What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation? (If your next season is other than fall/autumn, tell us about it and what you are most looking forward to in your part of the world!)”

This fall I'm looking forward to not only cooler temperatures but new AND numerous photo opportunities (digital photography is a hobby of mine.)  I'm also looking forward to our family get together in a couple of weeks up north...It's right on the lake and it's a completely stress free environment.  I'm also looking forward to being able to sit down and knit up some baby stuff for my niece or nephew that will be arriving in March 2012.

Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

I'm going to go with the end of Mockingjay on this one.  I thought that the end of Mockingjay was pretty rushed and I really would have liked to see it a little more drawn out and a little more detail.  I felt like the current ending was a little bit to "wham bam."

“What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?”

We couldn't choose just 1 so here is our "grocery list" of ARC's we would LOVE to get our hands on, looky there they're all YA too:

1. Article 5 by Kristen Simmons
2. Everneath by Brodi Ashton
3. Ashfall by Mike Mullin
4. A Million Suns by Beth Revis
5. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Steifvater
6. Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
7. Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer
8. Outpost by Ann Aguirre

Literally, ANY of these books we would LOVE to get our hand on an ARC of.

Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).

I've always been a reader.  But I didn't really turn into an "avid reader" until I found the Twilight series.  After I started the first book I had to keep going and from there I have always had to have a book handy.  DANG YOU TWILIGHT!

Friday Follows

Q. What do I do when I are not reading?

I do a lot of digital photography and I'm knitting like crazy working on some Christmas presents for family members.  When I'm not doing those things I like to watch movies and play with my dogs, who have me completely trained.

How/Where do you get your books? Do you buy them or go to the library? Is there a certain website you use like paperbackswap?

I spend a LOT of time on my local library's webpage ordering books to read.  I also like to spend money on Barnes and Noble's webpage and occassionally I like to use paperbackswap.com.

Friday Book Blogger Hops

Book Blogger HopThe Story Siren is hosting a really cool ARC giveaway!  I've entered why haven't you?!

Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

I can honestly say that if I know that I seriously dislike the book and I know I'm going to have to force myself to finish it, I give up.  There was one book before I started blogging that I actually forced myself to finish....it was soooo bad I can't even remember the name of it....Memorable right?!

Q. In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer...let's talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?

My personal favorite story growing about fairies was always Peter Pan.  I don't know what it was about it but it seemed to grab my interest and not let go.  Right now though...I'm really into Julie Kagawa Iron Fae series.

Friday Book Blogger Hops

Hi!  Welcome to my brand new blog.  So far I have book related posts on here but I'll be blogging about not only books but life and everything in between.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Question for this week:

Q. Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?

I read a little bit of everything to be honest.  Lately though I have been reading a lot of YA and mostly of the dystopian flavor.  So far my favorite dystopian books (I can't choose just 1) are The Hunger Games trilogy and Divergent.  Though I'm just about done with Blood Red Road and that one is right up there too.

“How many books are currently in your To-Be-Read (TBR) Pile?”

I just started my blog but right now I have about 150 or so books on my TBR pile and that number keeps growing with all the AWESOME new books that are coming out!  I have so many unread books right now that I am out of bookshelf space.  I have books piled up all over the place in my bedroom.
